Yeah, but the dub does horrible things like change genders (like that guy in the Raikou special - I found that the funniest thing ever) and throw in non-canonical songs for the hell of it (Misty's Song whyyy?).- Dannichu

Eh. I'll go with male simply because it's a main character in a children's TV show and every main character in a child's TV show is male. There's something like a 91:1 ratio of male leads to female ones. >.>- Dannichu
